Dr. Mary Puccio

Mary Puccio, M.D. grew up on Long Island and graduated cum laude from Siena College. She earned her medical degree at New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine as well as her fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola, New York. Dr. Puccio is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology & Oncology. She has been practicing in Bay Shore with Hematology Oncology Associates of Western Suffolk since July, 1997 and chairs the Transfusion Committee at Southside Hospital.
Dr. Puccio is a member of the American Medical Association, American College with Physicians and American Society of Clinical Oncology. She has been distinguished by Consumers Research Council of America, Americas “Top Physicians” from 2004-2005 and again in 2006.
She believes the focus of Oncology is not just treating the cancer but the quality of life of the patient as well.
